About stylishnames.app — What This Tool Does and Why We Built It
stylishnames.app is a free Unicode text generator. You type a name, pick a style, and copy the result. That is the whole thing. No account, no app download, no cost — it runs in your browser and generates text you can paste anywhere that accepts Unicode characters.
What problem does it solve
Most gaming platforms and social media apps have plain text name fields. But they render Unicode characters — which means a letter typed in Gothic font, cursive script, bold mathematical, or small capitals looks different from the same letter in default text, even though technically it is all plain Unicode. This is not a hack or a workaround. It is standard character encoding working exactly as designed.
The problem is finding and generating these characters. Unicode has over a million characters. Knowing which subsets produce Gothic letters, which produce cursive, which produce double-struck bold — and then converting a name into those characters one letter at a time — is not something anyone wants to do manually. The generator does that instantly for any word you type.
Who uses this tool
The majority of users fall into a few clear groups:
- Mobile gamers — primarily Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, BGMI, Mobile Legends, COD Mobile, and Roblox players who want styled in-game names. The gaming community around these titles in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and MENA has developed a strong visual culture around player names.

How the tool works
When you type a name into the generator, the tool converts each letter into its Unicode equivalent across dozens of different mathematical and alphabetic Unicode subsets. Gothic letters, for example, come from the Mathematical Fraktur block (U+1D504 onwards). Cursive letters come from the Mathematical Script block. Bold and italic variants come from the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block.
None of this requires any special software. The output is plain Unicode text — the same kind of text as any other character. You copy it, paste it into a game name field or a social media profile, and the platform renders it in the visual style of that Unicode block. The platform itself is doing the rendering. The tool is just converting your input into the right characters.

A note on accuracy
Platform rules change. Game updates sometimes alter Unicode support. Character limits occasionally shift. We try to keep every page current and correct the most common misinformation that circulates about these platforms — wrong character limits, incorrectly reported rename costs, font styles that do not actually work in specific games.
