This Privacy Policy explains what information stylishnames.app collects when you use the site, how that information is used, and what choices you have. The site is a free Unicode text generator — it does not require an account, does not collect personal information through forms, and does not store the names or text you generate.

What information we collect

Information you provide

stylishnames.app has no account registration, no contact forms, and no email subscription. You do not provide us with personal information in the course of using the generator. The text you type into the generator is processed locally in your browser and is not sent to or stored on our servers.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our web hosting provider and server infrastructure automatically collect standard server log data. This includes:

  • Your IP address (anonymised where possible)
  • The page you requested and the time of the request
  • Your browser type and operating system
  • The referring page (the page you came from, if any)

This data is collected by the server infrastructure for operational purposes — diagnosing errors, monitoring server load, and preventing abuse. It is not linked to any personal identity and is not used for marketing.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, how long visitors stay, and where traffic comes from. Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data using cookies. It does not collect your name, email, or any information you type into the generator.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Children’s privacy

stylishnames.app is a general-purpose tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to this site, please contact us at the address below and we will take steps to delete it.

Data retention

Server log data is retained for a maximum of 90 days before being deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ default retention settings, which you can review in Google’s privacy documentation.

We do not retain the text you type into the generator — it is processed locally and is not stored.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. These may include the right to access data held about you, the right to request correction or deletion of that data, and the right to object to processing.

Since stylishnames.app does not collect personal information in the normal course of use, most of these rights are unlikely to be relevant. If you have a specific request or concern, please contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
